Pasir Ris station on the East-West Line is the nearest station to Coastal Cabana, and the future Cross Island Line will add a second line there and a new station at Pasir Ris East. This guide sets out where each line goes, how far each station is and how the roads serve Jalan Loyang Besar.
Pasir Ris Station and Coastal Cabana
Pasir Ris station (EW1) is about 900 metres from the site in a straight line on OneMap, and the developer’s brochure gives a twelve-minute walk to the station and its bus interchange. The station stands at Pasir Ris Central beside White Sands and Pasir Ris Mall, so the walk ends among shops, a library, a supermarket and the hawker centre.
Pasir Ris is the eastern end of the East-West Line. Westbound trains run through Tampines, one stop away by the brochure’s count, then Simei, Tanah Merah, Bedok and on to the city; at Tanah Merah the Changi branch leaves for Expo and the airport, and the brochure counts four stations to Changi Business Park and Singapore Expo and three to the Singapore University of Technology and Design.

The Cross Island Line at Pasir Ris for Coastal Cabana
The Cross Island Line is planned to run across the north-east and centre of the island, and Pasir Ris will be one of its interchanges with the East-West Line. The developer’s growth map, citing the Land Transport Authority, sets out what the new line changes: Punggol Central falls from 15 stations to 3, saving about 25 minutes; Ang Mo Kio from 13 to 6, saving about 35; and Bright Hill from 16 to 8, saving about 50. The brochure counts four stations to Punggol Digital District and to the Singapore Institute of Technology campus there.
OneMap already shows the line’s Pasir Ris East station (CR4) at Pasir Ris Drive 1, about 1.1 kilometres from the site in a straight line. Planned lines and their timing are as announced by the authorities and may change.
